Founded in 2011, Bearded Face Productions is a full service promotion and production company serving the Outer Banks and beyond in concert, festival and event booking, management and consulting. Bearded Face Productions offers an array of services, including music booking, stage management, event production, tour management, event coordination and promotion.
We've worked with so many talented musicians over the years including Gov't Mule, T-Pain, The Revivalists, moe., G Love, Lettuce, Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, JJ Grey and Mofro, The Record Company, Ivan Neville, Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Keller Williams, Marcus King Band, Rebirth Brass Band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Delta Rae, The New Mastersounds, George Porter Jr, Donna the Buffalo, Tom Principato Band, and many more!
Mike Dianna
Producer and Owner of Bearded Face Productions Mike Dianna has always enjoyed entertaining people. Music, food and fun are his specialties.
When Mike moved to the Outer Banks in 1995 from Pennsylvania his career in the hospitality industry began. Over the years he founded two beloved restaurants that are still thriving today- Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla and Lucky 12 Tavern in Nags Head. While Mike excelled as a restauranteur, his passion had always been music so he sold both restaurants to relentlessly focus on music.
In 2011 Mike started Bearded Face Productions and never looked back. In the last seven years, he has produced over 15 large scale events with 500-3,000 people in attendance. The Mustang Music Festival (2011-2016 & hopefully beyond), Mustang Spring Jam (2012-2019+) and Mustang Rock & Roast (2018-2019+) were all founded and produced by Mike. He also founded the Mustang Outreach Program, which supplements the cultural arts programs in local schools with world class music performances, residencies and mentoring programs. Today, Mike is the President of the Mustang Outreach Program’s Board of Directors. He also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Corolla Wild Horse Fund and Currituck County Travel & Tourism Board.
In his spare time, you can find Mike spending time with his three children, hanging out on the beach, and enjoying different styles of eclectic music on Jam Cruise, at various venues around the country and at home on the Outer Banks.
